Unless you've had your head stuck up your shoe, you've probably heard of Bay Area Hiker.Bay Area Hiker is by far, the single greatest resource for hiking in the greater San Francisco metropolitan area reaching down to Gilroy and deep into wine country known as Napa County.
My goal, and it'll take a while, is to follow the tracks of Jane Huber and her travels through California. She has done a great job documenting California's beauty and it's an honor to take advantage of the resource she has provided us.
The hiking section of this site has been organized to parallel bahiker.org's layout with sections for the East Bay, North Bay, Peninsula & South Bay, and San Francisco. Each article in those sections will link back to Bay Area Hiker and provide meta information that may come in handy.
