Paul and I went biking at Arastradero Preserve on Sunday and it was a total blast. (THANKS PAUL!) That was my first time mountain biking since I was 14 or 15. Very fun indeed. Not exactly a first timer on a bike but gosh darn it was a challenge. Maybe I wasn’t as in shape as I thought I was. (Round is a shape, right?)

Anyhoot, I told him that during the months before the grand FnF campout, I used to go hiking on a near weekly basis and he suggested that I post about it when I go.

Well, I will be restarting my hikes pretty soon and want to invite others and post about it.

In the spirit of BikeAway, I have created a list called HikeAway.

HikeAway will be a list to discuss and plan both day and overnight hikes/backpacking trips.

Sign up if you’re interested in hiking, URL:

The list is hosted by the kind folks at the Geriatric Raver Society. I hear their site is being revamped and it'll be back online soon.
